The Minnesota Masonic Heritage Society, formerly the Minnesota Masonic Historical Society, began in 1995 to catalogue and document the thousands of Masonic artifacts collected over the years by Minnesota Masonry. Directed by Worshipful Brother Charles W. Nelson, the first historical architect in the State of Minnesota’s Historic Preservation Office, the MMHSM built a formidable collection, which now has found a home at the Ladd Museum.
Heritage Society members are those dedicated individuals who have an interest in historic preservation. More importantly, our members share their passion with others by helping to support the efforts of the Ladd Museum and Nelson Library. Members enjoy several Society events throughout the year and ticket discounts to Ives Auditorium events.
