John Rust will describe some of the adventures documented in his book – “Exploring Wilderness: From Heart Racing Adventure to Tranquility”. In addition, he will present slides showing locations he has visited worldwide, and wildlife encountered along the way. Join us for his firsthand accounts from Alaska to India to our own Minnesota Boundary Waters Canoe Area.

John is past president of the Minnesota Division of the Conservation organization Izaak Walton League (just down the street from the MMHC). IWL was founded in 1922 to conserve outdoor America for future generations. He will also discuss and answer questions about the IWL’s activities in Minnesota.
